Ever since I first visited Mossy Cave in September 2012, I've wanted to go there in the winter when the icicles are at their peak. Several years ago I went in March, but it was after a bout of unusually warm weather, and the icicles were mostly melted. This year, after a lot of snow and cold weather (Flagstaff had 65" of snow in January!), I decided this was as good a time as any. I am not disappointed.

I've wanted to stop and eat here for years, and finally take the time to do it. There was a Balloon Festival in Kanab this weekend, and I was afraid the place would be jam packed, but today I am the first to show up for lunch.
